Rewards Program Terms

PalapaVibez Rewards is a beta loyalty program. You earn points on hotel stays booked through us and can redeem them toward future stays. Points have no cash value, earning rules can change, and unredeemed points may be reduced or removed at our discretion. Read the full terms before relying on the program.
These terms (the “Rewards Terms”) govern your participation in the PalapaVibez Rewards program (the “Program”). They are part of, and incorporated by reference into, our Terms of Service. If there is a conflict between the Terms of Service and these Rewards Terms, the Rewards Terms control with respect to the Program.
1. Overview
The Program lets PalapaVibez account holders earn points on hotel stays booked through PalapaVibez and redeem those points toward future hotel stays. Points are earned on hotel bookings, plus a one-time welcome bonus when you join (see Section 3) — flights and shop orders do not currently earn points. The Program is operated by PalapaVibez LLC, an Oregon limited-liability company.
2. Beta program — subject to change
The Program is currently in beta. Earning rules and redemption mechanics may change at any time, with or without notice. Beta users should not rely on points as a stored value. Once the Program exits beta, we will provide written notice of any material change at least 30 days before it takes effect, posted on this page and emailed to active members.
3. Earning points
You earn points when you complete a hotel booking while signed in to a PalapaVibez account. The current earn rate is 1 point per $1 of the hotel total, and the rate in effect is shown on the rewards dashboard at the time of booking. Points post to your account when your hotel booking is confirmed.
New members also receive a one-time welcome bonus of 500 points once their email address is verified. The welcome bonus is limited to one per person and one per account, and may be withheld or reversed where we reasonably suspect duplicate accounts or abuse. We may change or discontinue the welcome bonus at any time during beta.
Refunded or cancelled hotel bookings reverse the corresponding points. Fraudulent or chargeback activity forfeits all points tied to the affected bookings and may result in account termination (see Section 9).
4. Redeeming points
Points are redeemed toward the cost of a future hotel stay at a rate of 100 points = $1, subject to a minimum redemption of 100 points. You choose how many points to apply during hotel checkout, and the discount is deducted from your total at that time. Points are not redeemable for flights, shop orders, cash, or any purpose other than hotel-stay discounts.
5. Points have no cash value
Points are a promotional credit. They have no cash value, cannot be purchased, transferred, sold, or assigned, and cannot be redeemed for cash. They are not property and create no contractual right to cash, refund, or service except as expressly described on the rewards dashboard and at hotel checkout. Estimated dollar values shown anywhere in the interface are for illustration only and are not a promise of redemption value.
6. Expiry & forfeiture
Points expire or are forfeited under any of the following conditions:
- Inactivity: if you have no qualifying earn or redemption activity for 24 consecutive months, your entire balance may be forfeited.
- Account closure: closing your PalapaVibez account forfeits all points.
- Termination for cause: see Section 9.
- Program end: if we terminate the Program (see Section 8), points may be forfeited as part of the wind-down.
7. Tax implications
Depending on your jurisdiction, the receipt or redemption of points may have tax consequences. PalapaVibez does not provide tax advice. We do not issue tax forms for points earned. You are responsible for reporting any taxable benefit and for any taxes owed. Consult a qualified tax advisor if you are unsure.
8. Changes to the program
We may modify, suspend, or terminate the Program in whole or in part at any time, with or without notice. Material changes during beta may take effect immediately; once the Program exits beta, we will provide 30 days’ advance written notice of material changes. Continued participation in the Program after a change constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your participation in the Program — and forfeit some or all of your points — if we determine in good faith that you have:
- Violated these Rewards Terms or our Terms of Service.
- Engaged in fraud, chargebacks, or abuse of the booking or payment systems.
- Provided false or misleading information when creating or maintaining your account.
- Used the Program in a way that we reasonably believe could harm us or other users.
We’ll notify you of suspension or termination at the email address on your account and you can dispute the decision by emailing [email protected].
