PalapaVibez Rewards is a beta loyalty program. You earn miles when you book through us. Miles have no cash value, earning rules can change, and unredeemed miles may be reduced or removed at our discretion. Read the full terms before relying on the program.
These terms (the “Rewards Terms”) govern your participation in the PalapaVibez Rewards program (the “Program”). They are part of, and incorporated by reference into, our Terms of Service. If there is a conflict between the Terms of Service and these Rewards Terms, the Rewards Terms control with respect to the Program.
1. Overview
The Program lets PalapaVibez account holders earn miles on flight, hotel, and shop purchases. Miles unlock tier benefits inside your account (badges, priority support when available). The Program is operated by PalapaVibez LLC, an Oregon limited-liability company.
2. Beta program — subject to change
The Program is currently in beta. Earning rules, tier thresholds, tier benefits, and redemption mechanics may change at any time, with or without notice. Beta users should not rely on miles as a stored value. Once the Program exits beta, we will provide written notice of any material change at least 30 days before it takes effect, posted on this page and emailed to active members.
3. Earning miles
You earn miles when you complete a booking or shop purchase while signed in to a PalapaVibez account. Earn rates are shown on the rewards dashboard at the time of purchase and may differ across product types (flights, hotels, shop). Miles post to your account after the transaction settles — for flights, after departure; for hotels, after check-out; for shop orders, after fulfilment.
Refunded or cancelled transactions reverse the corresponding miles. Fraudulent or chargeback activity forfeits all miles tied to the affected transactions and may result in account termination (see Section 9).
4. Tiers
Tiers are calculated from your annual earning total (rolling 12 months from your most recent qualifying purchase) and unlock cosmetic + support benefits. Tier membership does not entitle you to any particular discount, free trip, or other monetary benefit unless explicitly stated on the rewards dashboard at the time the benefit is offered. Tier benefits may be added, modified, or removed at any time during beta.
5. Miles have no cash value
Miles are a promotional credit. They have no cash value, cannot be purchased, transferred, sold, or assigned, and cannot be redeemed for cash. They are not property and create no contractual right to cash, refund, or service except as expressly described on the rewards dashboard. Estimated dollar values shown anywhere in the interface are for illustration only and are not a promise of redemption value.
6. Expiry & forfeiture
Miles expire or are forfeited under any of the following conditions:
- Inactivity: if you have no qualifying earn or redemption activity for 24 consecutive months, your entire balance may be forfeited.
- Account closure: closing your PalapaVibez account forfeits all miles.
- Termination for cause: see Section 9.
- Program end: if we terminate the Program (see Section 8), miles may be forfeited as part of the wind-down.
7. Tax implications
Depending on your jurisdiction, the receipt or redemption of miles may have tax consequences. PalapaVibez does not provide tax advice. We do not issue tax forms for miles earned. You are responsible for reporting any taxable benefit and for any taxes owed. Consult a qualified tax advisor if you are unsure.
8. Changes to the program
We may modify, suspend, or terminate the Program in whole or in part at any time, with or without notice. Material changes during beta may take effect immediately; once the Program exits beta, we will provide 30 days’ advance written notice of material changes. Continued participation in the Program after a change constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your participation in the Program — and forfeit some or all of your miles — if we determine in good faith that you have:
- Violated these Rewards Terms or our Terms of Service.
- Engaged in fraud, chargebacks, or abuse of the booking or payment systems.
- Provided false or misleading information when creating or maintaining your account.
- Used the Program in a way that we reasonably believe could harm us or other users.
We’ll notify you of suspension or termination at the email address on your account and you can dispute the decision by emailing [email protected].
