Sizing & Care
In plain language
Pick your size from chest width and length (in inches). Direct-to-garment prints look closest to the mockup when you wash them cold, inside-out, and tumble-dry low. Colours may shift slightly between monitor and fabric — that’s normal.
This page collects the everyday product-care information for shop.palapavibez.com apparel. For returns or defect claims, see the Returns & Exchanges Policy.
1. How to pick the right size
Lay a t-shirt you already own flat. Measure across the chest from armpit to armpit (that’s the chest width) and from the top of the shoulder to the bottom hem (that’s the length). Compare those two numbers with the table for the garment family below. Pick the row that matches — when you’re between sizes, size up if you like a relaxed fit, down if you like a fitted look.
Measurements are body-to-garment, not body-only. Add a couple of inches if you want room to layer.
2. Unisex tees
| Size | Chest width (in) | Length (in) |
|---|---|---|
| S | 18 | 28 |
| M | 20 | 29 |
| L | 22 | 30 |
| XL | 24 | 31 |
| 2XL | 26 | 32 |
| 3XL | 28 | 33 |
Tolerances on individual garments are ±0.5 inch. These tables reflect Printify’s published spec for the default tee blank used in our catalogue.
3. Hoodies & sweatshirts
| Size | Chest width (in) | Length (in) |
|---|---|---|
| S | 20 | 27 |
| M | 22 | 28 |
| L | 24 | 29 |
| XL | 26 | 30 |
| 2XL | 28 | 31 |
4. Hats & caps
Most caps in our catalogue are one-size-fits-most with an adjustable back strap fitting head circumference 21–24 inches. Where a fitted cap is offered, the product page lists the exact circumference.
5. Colour variance
Our products are printed using direct-to-garment (DTG) ink onto cotton or cotton-blend fabric. DTG prints look beautiful but have inherent characteristics worth knowing about:
- Monitor-to-fabric shift. Screens are backlit; fabric is not. The same hex value can read brighter on your phone than in real life, especially for saturated reds, blues, and neons.
- Fabric absorbs ink. Whites and pastels print at full strength; darker base fabrics need a white under-base layer, which softens the saturation of the print on top.
- Heather and tri-blend fabrics show the fabric texture through the print, giving a vintage, slightly-washed appearance. This is the look, not a defect.
- First wash brightening. The first wash removes the pre-treatment spray used to bond the ink; expect colours to look very slightly more saturated after the first wash and dry.
We won’t accept colour-variance claims under Returns unless the difference is dramatic (wrong colour entirely) or the print is faded / patchy. Visible cracks, smudges, or significant scale issues are covered.
6. Care instructions
To keep your print looking new for as long as possible:
- Wash cold, inside-out. Cold water (≤ 30°C / 85°F) and turning the garment inside-out protects the print surface from agitation against zippers, buttons, and other clothing in the load.
- Skip bleach and harsh detergents. They strip the bond between ink and fabric.
- Tumble dry low or air-dry. High heat shortens print life.
- Iron inside-out, on the reverse. Never iron directly on the printed area.
- No dry cleaning. The solvents damage DTG ink.
7. Materials & allergens
Fabrics in our default catalogue:
- Standard tee — 100% ring-spun cotton (heather and tri-blends include up to 50% polyester / 25% rayon).
- Hoodie / sweatshirt — 50% cotton / 50% polyester blend, brushed inside.
- Hat — structured 100% cotton crown with low-profile fit.
Inks are water-based DTG inks certified to OEKO-TEX ECO PASSPORTstandards — no known harmful chemicals or restricted substances. No latex used. If you have specific sensitivities (latex, nickel from buttons/zippers), the per-product spec on each product page lists components.
